Writing Need help recovering missing files/photos/documents from Windows laptop + Adobe Lightroom setup. I’m using my friend’s work laptop and when I first started using it, files were saving into locations I didn’t fully understand. I already paid someone on Airtasker remotely from Sydney to help fix this, but I’m still missing a lot of files and folders. I had a full folder setup including: • “Gemma’s Media” • RAW photo folders • Lightroom export folders • Archive folders/subfolders • Documents and creative files I’ve also been trying to transfer files into Google Drive/email/cloud storage and now things seem scattered, missing or disconnected. Need someone experienced with: • Adobe Lightroom • Windows file systems • File recovery • Cloud syncing • Google Drive • Folder organisation/backups I need help: • Finding missing RAW photos, exports and documents • Checking if files were moved/synced elsewhere • Recovering folders if possible • Organising the laptop properly • Making sure this never happens again Happy for remote help if you genuinely know how to fix this properly. Otherwise looking for someone in Melbourne who can assist in person.

I have purchased a T7 Samsung SSD, 1TB. The plan is to have the SSD run the iMac and the Fusion Drive can just be bypassed. I have tried installing myself but every time I go into Recovery Mode, it takes over 30 minutes to load. Once it is installed the start up time is around 3-4 minutes when everything I have read said it should be around 30-60 seconds This can be done remote access, but credentials are needed.
