Of course, this may vary from Tasker to Tasker, depending on the situation. If you’re hiring a playground assembly expert for the first time, here’s what to expect:Â
Preparing the outdoor area before playground assembly
Your playground assembly expert may start by preparing the ground where the setup will stand. This includes inspecting underground lines and removing any asphalt, concrete, sharp stones, or plants. They will also smoothen or grade the area. The goal is to create a safe, level space for the playground.
Taking out and evaluating playground equipment
Next, your Tasker may read the instructions or manual and inspect all the parts of the playground setup. This is to make sure that nothing is missing, broken, or dangerous to build with.
Preparing all necessary tools and materials
Whether your Tasker is bringing their tools or using your own, they’ll also need to check if they have all the necessary materials. To avoid any last-minute trips to the hardware store, it’s best to inform your Tasker of the kind of playground that they will be assembling.Â
Playground assembly
Once all the parts and tools are ready, your playground assembly expert will start building. Though they will usually stick to what’s in the manual, some may have a few tips and tricks to make the playground safer or the process faster. These may include building with the core structure first followed by the outer parts of the playground and placing stickers to indicate the age appropriateness of a part.Â
If you’d like to inspect the structure as they build, feel free to ask your Tasker. Just make sure that you don’t compromise the process and that you follow their safety precautions (if any).Â
Final inspection
When the playground is finally assembled, your Tasker will usually ask you to conduct a final inspection with them. This process helps you both ensure that the playground is safe for use. Taskers may also give you tips on how to keep kids safe while they play and how to maintain the structure. This is the time to ask any questions you have about your assembled playground.

Depending on the date on which the task is begun it comprises two or three elements 1. Disassemble the playground on site in Bulimba - this part is only available if the task is undertaken before 19th of November as the fort must be disassembled before the 21st of November. This will involve digging out concrete footings of ~600mm deep. 2. Move the playground to a location in Dutton Park 3. Reassemble the playground. This will involve digging 2 holes of ~600mm deep for re-seating two large coppers logs. The budget for this task is negotiable but obviously will be lower if only the second 2 elements are undertaken. - Due date: Before Thursday, 24 November 2022
