Hi! I need help dismantling an old rusted portable basketball hoop in my Clovelly backyard. I don't need it taken away, the council clean-up will collect it. I just need it broken down and moved to the kerb. It's a freestanding basketball hoop, about 2.8m tall. The telescopic pole is stuck at full height and won't collapse, and the joints are heavily rusted, so it'll almost certainly need to be sawn/cut apart rather than unbolted. The backboard is bolted to the pole, and the base is two plastic tubs filled with water/sand that need emptying. What I need: • Empty the base tubs • Cut / dismantle the frame into smaller pieces • Move the pieces to the kerb out front Once it's dismantled, access to the street is easy (short, flat, clear path) Please bring your own tools — an angle grinder or hacksaw for the rusted joints, plus spanners. One person is probably fine, but your call. Need to be done by Friday 18
