Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. Then they’re going to have it ready to complete your condenser or vented tumble dryer installation.
Connecting your appliance
Not sure how to install a tumble dryer yourself? Don’t fret, since a Taske can take care of it for you. They take charge of connecting your appliance to the electrical socket. Sam is punctual but there is a bit of room in communication on what's involved in his fee. Originally posted a $500 job to take down a small cabinet and resize a laundry cabinet to fit a standard size machine. Sam took down the small cabinet but did not resize the main laundry cabinet. When asked for renegotiating cost I was advised it is 1.5 hours of travel to get to me, fuel and costs adds up to $500. Disappointing
