I had it measured at a tailor and they suggested 6cm total width add in 3 cm either side of the zip in a v shape ( see image). Unsure of how far down it needs to be altered to however, see image for rough alteration. Will need to be re-measured. The Tailor suggested the zip be unpicked and resewn in with two v shape panels either side in order for the dress to fit. I’ll provide the fabric.
