Find trusted alterations services in Coburg

I have 5 tshirts that I would like cut so the length is shorter, and re-hemmed. I want them all to be around the same length as one particular tshirt I will provide (roughly 74cm length from shoulder to waist). Located in Coburg - can drop them off and pick up in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Zip broken on bottom of suitcase and I’m told not covered under warranty so looking for a private repair. It’s only a small section of the zip - 6-8cm estimated. The plastic part of one side of the zipper has separated from the fabric. This is for a samsonite piece of luggage. Happy to drop bag off anywhere in inner suburbs of Melbourne for the repair. I’m based in Coburg. If you have knowledge in this area and you deem this irreparable I would also appreciate your opinion.

Urgently need some minor alterations on a dress. Needed for a wedding this Saturday 26 OCT Straps to be shortened for better fit or turned into halter neck or Criss- cross back for more bust support. MAYBE slightly taken in at bust - depends on how the strap alterations change the fit stretchy sheer mesh, polyester fabric

Hey all, Just after someone to bring my jeans in. They’re a little wide around the waist, so they fall down and using a belt bunches the waist line. This obviously causes quite an unflattering “bulge” in the crotch area. The zipper section falls below the belt, I think maybe because the belt straps are too far apart? Might need to move those also. Would appreciate if someone could come here as I have a bit of a shoulder injury that prevents me from driving far, but I’m assuming sewing equipment is a bugger to transport, so I’m happy to drive a short distance. I am located in Coburg so the closer the better. No real rush. They’re just jeans, after all.

I need a couple of pants that I got alterations done for picked up from a shop in Coburg called Pins and Needles which is only open during working hours. Since I am at work I cannot pick it up.

Shorting of few dresses, not working so a cheap as possible pls & in no rush - Due date: Flexible

I order a dress that fits very well it’s just a little too long. So looking for someone to either take the dress up at the bottom or to make the dress into a Co-ord top and bottom depending on how expensive that is. If that’s too expensive I will just get it taken up. - Due date: Before 20 October 2023

I have a broken zipper on one of my favourite dresses. The whole zipper may need to be replaced as it’s old and some of the teeth are crooked. The zipper head is also damaged from me trying to fix it. The zipper is around 30cm long and is silver with navy material. The zip is sewn in a semi-invisible way. - Due date: Before Saturday, 11 February 2023

I need the straps taken up and to see if anything can be done to tighten/cinch in the waist as it is just slightly too big. - Due date: Before Wednesday, 20 April 2022
