A few years ago, the zipper on my Kathmandu backpack was damaged when it fell off the roof of a car. I had it replaced by someone on here but they put the wrong size zipper on it and shortened the fabric it was attached to. Looking for someone to replace this zipper and potentially extend the canvas fabric it’s attached to. The fabric is a bag strap cover. I bought a dress because I LOVE the print and fabric, however I think I'd wear it much more if it was a top, or a top and matching skirt. It has two attached ties on the sides (to tie up around the front or back), with each part fitting more than enough around my waist, so I'm hoping it'd be possible to use that as the new skirt waistband and to add whatever fabric is needed at the bottom of the 'top', once they're split. The zip goes partway through the skirt so that would need to be re-done too - I'm not worried about it being invisible, as long as it's a matching colour to the fabric. Alterations required for my "vision": - Cutting a dress in half right above the join - Adding the strap to the skirt as a waistband - New zip on the top and skirt Let me know if it'd be possible! I'll keep it as a dress if not :) Note: I'm not sure how long it would take, or what the usual fees would be for something like this!
