What we need: Attend our laundromat in Woy Woy for a 2–3 hour content shoot Film high-quality vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok & Facebook Take professional lifestyle/detail photos Create approximately 10–15 short-form videos/reels from the shoot Edit videos with music, text overlays and transitions Capture our new machines, Bubble Pay system, shop fit-out and branding Create some fun/trendy content rather than just standard promotional videos

We're looking for a creative, proactive Marketing & Content Creation Assistant to help us grow our brand, increase engagement and ultimately generate more enquiries. This is an ongoing, flexible role for someone who doesn't just want to be told what to post. We want someone who can think creatively, bring ideas to the table and take initiative. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Creating engaging content for Instagram and Facebook - Creating Reels, Stories and posts using Canva and/or similar tools - Taking photos and video content around Kangy Gardens - Helping promote weddings, wedding showcases, cooking classes and other events - Developing creative marketing ideas to increase engagement and enquiries - Helping build a consistent and recognisable social media presence - Finding opportunities to promote Kangy Gardens in relevant Facebook groups and online communities - Creating and maintaining a simple content calendar - Helping with promotional campaigns and special offers - Assisting with basic website/content updates - Researching local marketing opportunities, collaborations and potential partnerships - Looking at what is working and suggesting ways we can improve - Bringing your own ideas and taking ownership of marketing activities WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS - Creative, enthusiastic and proactive - Confident creating Reels and short-form video content - Comfortable using Canva - A good writer who knows how to create attention-grabbing content - Able to think about marketing from a business and customer perspective - Someone who can look at a situation and say, "Here's what I think we should try" - Comfortable working independently without needing constant direction - Organised, reliable and willing to take ownership - Interested in weddings, events, hospitality, lifestyle or local business marketing - Comfortable coming to Kangy Gardens on the Central Coast to capture content when required Marketing, social media, communications or design students/graduates are very welcome to apply. This could be a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting practical experience working with a real local business and building their portfolio. HOURS & LOCATION $30 per hour The hours will be flexible and variable depending on what marketing activity is required. Some weeks may require more hours than others, particularly around events and wedding showcases. The role is based on the Central Coast, with some work able to be completed remotely. Regular onsite visits will be required for photography and video content. Start: ASAP THE OPPORTUNITY We're looking for the right person rather than someone simply looking for a set number of hours. If we work well together, there is potential for this to become an ongoing role with increasing responsibility, as you become familiar with Kangy Gardens, our customers and our brand. Kangy Gardens isn't a typical wedding venue. We have a beautiful 2.5-acre garden setting, weddings, events, cooking classes and other exciting projects happening throughout the year, so there is plenty of scope to create interesting and varied content. We're looking for someone who can become part of the business and help us build a strong, recognisable brand and generate more enquiries.
