The top panel of sash window has suddenly collapsed and fallen down. It won’t stay up. Please fix.

A Sash window would not close and lock after we got it painted. It may need bit of sanding and putting back so that it can be closed and locked. It is on ground floor- easily accessible.

Double sash window needs components repaired and replaced. Top sash removed to allow spray painting and locks replaced with lock.

Honestly this is a tricky task. This is part of my plan to move my oversized 4 posted hardwood bed into upstairs bedroom through the window. If you can help, contact me. I need to remove the inside structures including sashes and part frame to let the bed frame pass through. You will install it back after the move is over. I hope some good carpenter with that knowledge help me.

Sash windows need new rope. They don’t stay up just drops down

Need a sash window taken out and put back in. We have a slightly unusual sash window that slides down into a pocket between the brick walls. Video attached. Anyway, my partner dropped his phone and it fell into the gap. After much trial, the only way we can think we can get it back is to remove the window. Hoping someone can help!

I have a few tasks needing work. Mainly I have some sash windows in a property I am moving into soon that need service / repair. I think it one the sash cord needs to be replaced and the other may be the same or the weight balance is off. Glass panel is also broken in one and needs to be replaced. Separately I have some additional tasks needing to be done such as barn door roller track replacement with new, shifting internal door from one room to another, changing door handles.
