Description: Hi, I need a glazier or sliding door specialist to fix a wooden sliding patio door that has come off its tracks. The Situation: The Incident: The door has come completely off the track and the glass is smashed. The Cause: Unsure, but we suspect thermal expansion (due to recent hot weather) caused the door/tracks to warp or swell, leading it to jump the rail. Current State: The door is currently moved aside safely. We have cleaned up most of the protruding glass shards, but the frame still needs professional attention. Scope of Work: Frame Assessment: Check the wooden frame for structural integrity. Since we suspect heat expansion, please check if the wood has warped or swollen and if it needs planing to fit correctly again. Railings & Track Repair: The door was difficult to slide in my general, well before it broke. The railings may need to be assessed and/or re-done to handle the weight and movement of the door, ensuring it will be safe to operate in future. Glass Replacement: Supply and install new safety glass to fit the wooden frame. Re-hanging: Re-install the door properly with new heavy-duty rollers if needed. Requirements: Experience with wooden sliding doors (carpentry skills preferred for the frame adjustments). Ability to supply cut-to-size safety glass. Garage door does not open. Probably one part is broken.

My front security door has had the rivets break away from the door frame and I'll need it fixed when possible

Garage roller door was closed while the car was moving and this resulted in the door was pulled out of alignment. Managed to realign door back into its tracks however the door now seems slightly bowed. Now when the door is closing it seems to grab a little as it is closing and the door doesn’t always finish closed in the same position at the bottom which usually leaves a gap. The adjustment that controls the door closure may be affected because the door isn’t shutting smoothly. The large black wheel cog at the top doesn’t always turn exactly vertical while engaging the smaller cog which could be a reason why the adjustment of the closure is affected.

The mesh in the bottom section of our wooden screen door is damaged. Needs to be replaced with a new section of mesh (I assume the wooden trims will need to be removed and maybe replaced). It’s about 60cm by 60cm. I am happy to purchase the necessary supplies (mesh, trim, paint) or if you’d prefer to add that to your quote that’s fine.

The Rivets on one of the hinges of the Hinged Screen Door are broken. The broken rivets must be removed and new rivets fixed onto the door through the hinge.

Lower half of my garage door came off the tracks due to high winds. Need to fix it asap

The roller garage door has a metal strip on one side and has come off. This is casing the door to get jammed while opening or closing the garage. The strip was carefully put back in place and the garage shut. The image shows when the garage was fully open. Upon closing the strip of metal was jamming the door.

I need the flyscreen replaced in 2 screen doors. One is a hinged door with rivets and the other is a sliding screen door with the rubber surround. We want the strong steel mesh.

The bracket has dislodged from the brick work and the spring came loose. The bracket needs to be fixed back to the wall and spring reattached. The other bracket needs securing as it appears loose.

It needs some adjusting. Doesn’t slide down and go up easily. It keep slipping.

Sliding wooden, fly wire door, needs top trimmed and channel deepened. Seems overhead beam has dropped. Can't raise door high enough to sit rollers on track. Pics won't show anything.
