The job should take under 15 minutes for someone with the right tools and experience. What needs to be done: Secure the Patio Link pet door panel into the sliding door track. Drill 3mm pilot holes into the aluminum frame/insert. Mount and align the latch bar and female latch onto the insert so the sliding door closes and locks smoothly. What is provided: Patio Link pet door insert. All original screws and mounting hardware provided by the manufacturer. If you have more screws that’d be handy. What you need to bring: Cordless drill and a 3mm drill bit suitable for aluminum. Screwdriver / basic hand tools.
