Looking for a Documentary-Style Videographer for an Intimate, Non-Traditional Wedding My partner Jord and I are getting married on 17 April 2026 in Daylesford, and we’re looking for a videographer whose style is natural, documentary, and story-driven rather than posed or overly traditional. This isn’t a full scale wedding. It’s a small, intimate day held at a beautiful Airbnb with just a handful of our closest people. Think relaxed, wholesome, and emotionally rich and less “wedding production,” more quietly making our love official. What we’re hoping to capture: - A short, intentional window of coverage (not a full day) - The ceremony, atmosphere, and in-between moments - Genuine emotion, connection, and natural interactions - A cinematic feel that still feels human and unpolished in the best way There’s also a creative second element....In August 2026, we’re hosting what guests believe is an engagement party, which will actually be a surprise celebration of our marriage. The plan is to play a nostalgic slideshow that gradually reveals short video moments from our Daylesford day, before rolling into a full reveal film while we sneak away to change into wedding outfits and re-enter at the end. We’ve been in each other’s lives for 11 years and together for 8. We laugh a lot, don’t take ourselves too seriously, and care far more about how the day feels than how it looks.
