This is for people who actually build flatpack furniture — IKEA assemblers, handypeople, movers and furniture installers who already have paid assembly jobs booked over the coming weeks. If you don't regularly assemble furniture, this one isn't for you. We'll pay you to record about 10 hours of footage of yourself doing your normal furniture assembly jobs. The videos are used to help train AI and robotics to understand how people do real hands-on work. No acting, no talking, no face on camera — you just do your normal builds while wearing a phone on a headband (so the camera sees what your hands see). Who this is for: - Assemblers, handypeople, movers or installers with jobs already lined up - Access to a variety of builds and locations (variety is important — different furniture types, different homes) - Reliable and able to record consistently over 10 hours of real work What you'll record (mix and match — variety is good): - Unboxing and laying out parts, hardware and instructions - IKEA and other flatpack builds — wardrobes, dressers, bookshelves, bed frames, desks, tables, chairs - Reading and following assembly instructions - Using hand and power tools — allen keys, screwdrivers, drills, mallets - Fitting drawers, doors, hinges, runners and handles - Attaching legs, backing panels and shelves - Wall-anchoring and levelling finished pieces - Flat-pack breakdown/disassembly if you do it - Packing up and clearing away cardboard and offcuts What you'll need: - A smartphone with a wide camera (0.5x zoom) - Well-lit workspaces (natural or indoor light is fine) - Internet to upload the videos - Assembly jobs lined up across different builds/locations How it works: - I'll send you simple recording instructions (angles, lighting, how long each clip should be). - You record yourself doing the jobs as you normally would. - You upload the videos to a shared folder (Google Drive / Dropbox — I'll provide). We'll ship you the headband before you start the tasks. You'll need to sign a consent form before starting, and get consent from the homeowner.
