Fanatec racing sim wheel base has broken accessory connectors. Wheel base works fine - just can't plug in pedal unit. Will require repairing and soldering two connectors onto PCB. The connectors are similar to Ethernet connectors and are flat-soldered onto the main PCB.

I was in a motor vehicle accident on 23.12.25, in my car was my electric mower, at this present time the mower has broken and isn’t turning on. I’m wanting to send someone the details and photos so they can write a report stating the mower is beyond repair and a replacement would be needed for the insurance as this is what they requested. The mower is as damaged, a some of the battery teeth inserts broke I believe.

We have a mature platycerium superbum fern that has come off its mount. This fern would be 30 years old and client wants to remount on the gumtree. I am asking for advice on the best ways to do this. The old mount is still on tree with a nylon strap loop at the top but the superbum got too heavy. My research so far says stainless or gal fixings into the tree are ok but recommend they be loosened every year as the tree grows. Not sure how to do this maybe not necessary at tree very matured. My primary concern is keeping the gumtree healthy then secondary is the mounting of superbum. I was thinking about a new marineply base but unsure about how to fix to allow for growth. Have you rehung one? How best to fix and allow for access to backoff fixings?

Gas leak detected on gas line at property. 0.652 kpa drop detected during testing period of 5 mins. The gas line will need to be upgraded to copper or PEX to ensure the leak has been fixed to comply with AS5601.
