Hi! I have a long, light-yellow dress that is quite sheer in daylight. I need a tailor/seamstress to add a lightweight stretch lining underneath the dress to make it non-see-through. Requirements: • Add a thin lining from waist to hem (or full length depending on your recommendation) • Keep the outer look the same — dress has ruching, so lining only needs to be a simple straight tube • Must be lightweight + smooth so it doesn’t add bulk • I can provide the dress — you provide the lining fabric • Happy to drop off / pick up locally Photos of dress + fabric attached. I need a seamstress who can mend my knitted jumper. You would need to be in Kelmscott, Armadale area to pick up & then drop off when job is completed. There are a couple holes in the jumper, but the main issue is one of the sleeve has completely split open. The job is to repair the broken sleeve to match the other one & repair any holes or loose threads in the jumper so it looks normal again. I ask that the thread be the same colour please. And if you have any examples of your work that would be great please send in comments or private message. I'm really wanting someone experienced with sewing & knitwear. I've had some clothes repaired in the past in a shop & she made new holes & made my clothing look even worse.

LOOKING TO HIRE ANYONE WITH SEWING EXPERIENCE FOR A PROJECT (working from home). Hi my name is Lucy! I am a fashion designer and I am currently looking for a seamstress to work with short or long term to create a few designs, for a small collection for a start up women's clothing brand. Types of clothes would include co-ord sets of pants and women's tops and dresses (experience with sewing corsets / tailoring would be a bonus). My designs can be a bit more complex as i enjoy editorial looks and structured silhouettes which would be reflected in the payment. The materials and features i like to work with is stretch fabric as well as non stretch, lace and cotton blends. Technical sketches, spec sheets, patterns and possibly even samples can be provided.
