If you can speak Mandarin, that’s a plus but not required. Required skills: Basic networking: You should at least know what a modem, switch, and Ethernet cable are. Basic Android operation: Simple tasks such as connecting to Wi-Fi/Ethernet, turning Bluetooth on/off, etc. Transportation: Having a car and a valid driver’s license is preferred. 1st Job: Date and time: Tuesday, 16/12/2025 start at 12pm Location: Joondalup, WA 6027 2nd Job: Date and time: Wednesday, 17/12/2025 start at 12pm Location: Livingston, WA 6027 Each job will take roughly from 1 to 2 hours. Data Cabling Required – Experienced Technician We are seeking a qualified and experienced data cabling installer. NBN will soon be installing fibre to our premises, with the likely entry point being the garage. We require a new data connection run from the entry point to our upstairs walk-in robe, where our router and network switch are located. Context: New build with incomplete home hub. 10 ethernet cables unmarked, with 2 connected to a 6 port switch. Big grey box is alarm system. NBN ready with HFC architecture installed outside home which i assume is the stray coaxial cable in photo (tucked inside). *Requirements* Part 1 (Test, Identify, Consult) - Identify, test and label the 10 ethernet cables to ethernet rj45 wall plate (room / location). I assume you will have the equipment to do this. - Consult on how to cleanly consolidate the networking system to allow maximum coverage around home, which will include to my knowledge: beige box alarm system (as shown in photo), NBN NTD, Router, Switch. - Recommend me hardware for my needs (wifi 6+, good coverage around home, high speeds): new media / network enclosure, router, switch, mesh wifi APs, other, any electrical GPO work if required. I want this a clean install so minimal space is key as I will need to park the car inside garage. Based on above work in Part 1, I would like to have a rough drawing of the proposed hardware configuration layout and recommended hardware to be sourced. Once agreed on approach and hardware, I will source the hardware and apply for ISP to provision NBN NTD box. Part 2 (Reconfigure and Install) -> I will post another airtasker for this job - Reconfigure networking and install hardware neatly - Test components to make sure everything works as expected, internet connected and coverage and speeds are good.
