I’m looking for a reliable and responsible Tasker to securely store my laptop at their home for a fixed period of 30 days. During this period, the laptop will need to remain connected to power and a stable internet connection so I can access it remotely. The Tasker will not be expected to use the laptop or access any files. The main responsibilities are: - Store the laptop in a secure, clean, and dry indoor location - Keep it connected to reliable power and internet - Use surge protection where available - Check that the laptop remains powered on - Perform an occasional restart if requested - Inform me through Airtasker if there is a power, internet, or equipment issue - Prevent unauthorized physical access to the laptop - Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the device and its contents Think of it as hosting the world’s quietest houseguest - it takes up very little space, does not eat your food, and only occasionally asks to be restarted. Requirements: - Reliable high-speed internet - Stable electrical service - A secure indoor location - Good communication through Airtasker - Basic confidence handling computer equipment - Agreement not to open, use, inspect, or access the laptop Task duration: 30 consecutive days Total task budget: $300 for the complete 30-day task Please submit an offer through Airtasker and include: - Your general area - A brief description of your internet reliability - Whether you have surge protection or backup power - Any relevant IT or equipment-handling experience All communication, task arrangements, and payment will remain through Airtasker.
