This is expected to be an extensive finish-prep job due to new trim, ceiling details, patching, sanding, and touch-up work required before painting. Work includes running four electrical wires inside the wall for recessed lighting and switch locations. Any wall openings created for wiring, along with previous holes or damaged areas, must be properly patched, taped, compounded, sanded, and blended into the surrounding wall surface. All new and existing trim work should be carefully inspected and prepared. Use wood putty to fill chips, nail holes, gaps, seams, and imperfections in the trim. Trim and coffered ceiling details must be sanded smooth as needed before priming and painting. All gaps along trim, corners, ceiling details, and wall transitions should be filled with paintable caulk where appropriate. Surfaces must be properly cleaned, prefilled, primed, and prepped before final paint application to ensure a clean, professional finish. Final work should include: * Wall patching and repair of previous holes * Running four wires inside the wall for recessed lights and switches * Sanding and prepping new coffered ceiling and trim * Wood putty on trim chips, gaps, nail holes, and imperfections * Caulking seams and transitions before painting * Priming repaired, raw, or unfinished areas * Painting the living room walls, trim, and ceiling touch-up areas * Proper finish blending for a clean, smooth, completed look Due to the amount of detail work, trim preparation, ceiling finishing, patching, sanding, priming, and painting involved, this should be treated as a detailed finishing project rather than a basic repaint.

I’m looking for a skilled painter to paint trim and do ceiling cut-ins in my living room + kitchen so I can roll the wall “middles” myself afterward. Scope (living room + kitchen only): • Paint baseboards • Paint window sills/trim • Paint 2 specific doors: door casing + door jambs (inside frame) (not the door slab unless time allows) • Do a clean cut-in line where the wall meets the ceiling around the room (no crown molding) Prep: I already filled dings with spackle and sanded. Please do a quick wipe-down to remove dust and any light final sanding if needed. Paint/finish: I’ll supply paint. Color is Behr Blank Canvas. Use satin or semi-gloss for trim/doors/baseboards. (Walls will be rolled later.) Expectations: • Protect/mask floors and windows as needed • Two coats where needed for solid coverage • Clean lines, no drips, tidy cleanup
