"I have a 2014 Nissan Altima S. The dashboard is completely black and won't turn on, but the headlights and hazards still work. A locksmith tried to program a key but their scan tool says 'No Communication' and cannot read the VIN from the car. The steering wheel can turn slightly, so it isn't physically locked. I need an electrical specialist to diagnose why the BCM or ignition circuit is failing to wake up the CAN bus network."so did have a mobile mechanic come out yesterday and got it going but since the key not programmed couldn't start car so I have a key I just need it reprogrammed. But did have mechanic supposedly fix bcm Saturday yesterday locksmith came out said there an issue with bcm so can't program key

2002 Dodge Ram Van 3500./ 2003 RoadTrek Popular 190 Van Convertion. My van was running w/ no problems. Local kids broke into her and found a spare key. Started her up a turned on the heater and partied until she ran out of gas. Left key in ignition in the on position,. Drained the battery & deep cell battery. I think the fuel pump seized. New battery and 5 gallons of fuel can't get her started. The on board computer needs to have air flowing over it or else it will burn out. Engine idling for 5 to 6 hour with heater on might do this. Van has 82,000 miles on her.
