RH Motor and regulator assembly work when removed and tested on the LH side plug. Switch has been replaced - makes no difference Measured 12V to plug, motor buzzes slightly but doesn't move when switched. Is there a BCM unit that could be the cause?

Hardwire install of new Vantrue Nexus N5S 4 channel dual camera dash cam in new BYD Sealion 7. This system has 2 cameral units - Front which covers looking externally to front plus internal looking inside from front to back, and Back looking back externally plus internal inside from back to front. Camper trailer brake power wire short circuit. Vehicle has REDARC error: Yellow with 1 Red Flash: "Blue wire (output) shorted to ground" Vehicle has been confirmed to not be the fault. Somewhere the brake power wire is shorting to earth. Have checked the plug and everything from the control box back to the brake hubs, and can find no issue (though I'm not an electrician). Also replaced both electric brake assemblies to rule out faulty magnets. The short is between the 7 pin plug and the control box on the #5 wire. ( I think ). Need to either diagnose short and repair, or bypass and run new brake power wire.
