Once the joints and gaps are filled, your regrouting specialist wipes the surface down with a damp sponge to remove grout dust. After the grout has dried and set in place, they finish off by polishing and buffing the face of the tiles with a clean, dry cloth. Depending on your needs, they can either lighten or darken your tiles using an appropriate paint solution.
After the whole regrouting process, you will notice a lot of excess grout and dust on the floor. At times, they even linger on the window glass, kitchen countertops, or other surfaces. Shower Regrouting & Leak Repair Needed I’m looking for an experienced bathroom tiler or regrouting specialist to repair a leaking shower and restore the grout. The shower was not installed properly by the previous owner, and while I plan to renovate the bathroom in the future, I need a quality repair that will keep it watertight for the next few years.
