Looking for a waiter with basic food prep skills for my 40th birthday party. Located at a private home in Thornbury, required from 6.45pm to 9pm. Event starts at 7pm. All food will be pre-cooked — I just need someone to microwave, assemble and circulate serving guests. It’s a cocktail-style event, so you’ll be roaming with platters throughout the night. Food is simple and easy, mini cheeseburgers, skewers and pasta. It would be great if you could bring a serving tray to roam with. I’ll supply all disposable plates, bowls, cutlery etc. There will also be some light assistance required with collecting used glasses, loading the dishwasher and topping up guests’ drinks if needed. Looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, well-dressed and professional.

I am looking for a reliable waitperson to assist with a hens party at my home. It would require heating and serving canapes (which we will source) and tidying as the event goes on (empty glasses, used napkins etc). It would be around 2:30-6pm.

We need a two hour window of bringing food round an event space from a pizza truck. Will be just wandering around with pizza slices to offer food to attendees while the truck is cooking them up. Please let me know an appropriate cost, acknowledging it is only a short shift.
