Experienced Event Host Staff/Food & Beverage Attendants (2 people) – Engagement Party - Tuggeranong – Sat 29 Nov, 2:00pm – 9:30 pm $250pp (7 paid hrs + 30 min break). We’re hosting a relaxed, elegant engagement garden party & looking for two experienced hospitality professionals to help keep things running smoothly. The event will flow from a casual afternoon with grazing platters and cocktails into BBQ dinner & dessert. We are seeking help to set up, serve food and drinks, & keep the space running seamlessly, including topping up grazing tables, BBQ, meat carving, stocking drinks stations and clean-up throughout the day. Key info: • Arrive 2:00 pm for a 2:30 pm start • Assist with final food prep and setup of drinks throughout the venue (most food will be pre-prepared) • Keep buffet and gin bar stocked and neat • Maintain self-serve drinks stations • Retrieve and wash glasses, serving platters, and utensils as required • Serve warm appetisers 3:30 – 4:30 pm • Monitor spit roast throughout the afternoon (every 30 mins) • Cooking vegetarian/vegan skewers on the BBQ (pre-prepared) • Carve meat • Set out salads and sides for dinner approx. 7 pm • Collect & clean plates/cutlery (mostly disposable) • Lay out desserts (fruit and snacks) • General tidy-up throughout event Event Details: • Approx. 70 guests, friendly and relaxed atmosphere • Parking available • Dinner and refreshments provided • Dishwasher and full kitchen available Other info/requirements: • Detailed notes and venue photos provided before the event • Request to meet beforehand • Hospitality/catering experience – please include relevant information/evidence (and testimonials if possible) • People comfortable working with each other, able to take initiative • Request all black attire Would suit proactive, reliable people who can identify and solve small issues to keep the day running smoothly. attend 5pm -8pm. Neatly dressed. (Black pants white shirt if you've got it, not essential, plus a warm layer as the bar will be on the balcony) Orientation and briefing first. Collaborate with another Airtasker who will do the food. Guests arrive 5.30pm; Tasks: operate the bar, mainly champagne, you will need to open a lot of bottles fast at the beginning, also non-alcoholic options. Speeches and toast 6:20-6:30pm. Circulate with Champagne bottles to make sure everyone's glasses are charged for the toast. Some guests have mobility problems and won't be able to come to the bar themselves. Tidy up as we go, collect rubbish, & empty bottles to a re-cycling box. I think I have enough glasses but it MAY be required to hand wash a few during the evening. Guests about 25 mainly older people, celebration, happy occasion.

Seeking an experienced bartender for a private event on Friday 6th December. The role will be for around 4 hours from 4pm, at a residential property.
