Tony told me that everything was out of the unit and then insisted on payment. I advised that a friend would be around to check that everything was done and then payment would be released. Tony was not happy with this. He even said if we didn't release his payment he would take the unit keys with him back to Walloon (about an hour away) and we'd have to get them from there. My friend arrived and Tony was verbally abusive towards her. She checked the unit and not everything had been removed. She had him help to remove the final small things. He then still would not hand over the unit keys until she phoned us and we released his payment. Our instruction clearly stated everything had to be removed from the unit. This was not done. Even small things left would have resulted in us receiving an invoice from the real estate to remove them. My wife and I are sick with Covid. The friction, aggression, and pressure was not called for or appreciated.
