Hi, I'm moving houses on Friday the 6th of October and need a strong pair of hands with a ute or a van. I have things to move from storage in Milton and my house in Auchenflower. The items in storage are : a bed (already disassembled), mattress, chair and a desk (disassembled and packed). From Auchenflower : 6 x boxes medium sized, 3 suitcases, 2 side tables and a chest of drawers that's probably only 1 to 2 kg heavy. Pick up locations are on the ground floor so no steps and storage has trolleys and a lift. Drop off is in the Valley and has dedicated lifts for moving. As the lift is booked for 9:30am, we would have to start loading at 8:30am. As I have an injury, I may not be able to help lift the heavy stuff but can definitely give you a hand with the lighter ones. Nothing I own requires 2 people to carry and everything that can be disassembled is ready to go.
