The courier who delivered the fridge, said getting it up the stairs, and getting the old fridge down is probably a 2 strong persons or 3 person job. "we need to get a new fridge up the stairs, and old fridge down. They are a similar size, and we've done the calculation, so we think it should go up ok, even through the turn. However the stairs do turn somewhat awkwardly, so it has to be lifted as its turned which will be a bit tricky." Needing a heavy washing machine (90/100kg) moved from Braddon to Mitchell in Canberra. Both addresses have lifts no stairs so is easy but I don’t have a trolley/ easy access to lift into a vehicle.

Help with moving five pieces of furniture from apartment (via lift) to a van. Should take less than an hour.

I need help moving a few glass panels and some titles to the garage. Will be good if you can bring a wheelbarrow for the titles, but I also have a hand trolley if that’s something you want to use. The glass panels are fairly heavy, but a strong bloke (or two) should have no issues lifting it. I will unscrew the hex screws myself if that helps.

Need two people to lift a washing machine up and over a sink, it is heavy.

Just need some expert help with moving some heavier items - only moving a kilometre or so, and job should take no longer than an hour or so. No stairs at old place (lift and easy access through front of building), but one set of stairs (about 20 or so at new place) at new place, and would prefer someone with experience to move these objects up and into the new place. Key items we are asking for assistance with moving are: - An electric piano (This is heavy - about 60 - 80kg and will need specialist dolly/equipment to get up stairs) - Fridge - Washing Machine - Lounge (splits into a couple of parts, but has an electric recliner in one end that makes it heavy). Ideally you will have your own truck to do the move of those items - but we will have access to a hire truck for some time early on Saturday 31 May if necessary. Needs to be completed either the afternoon of Friday 30th May, or anytime on Saturday 31st May. Experience moving pianos is essential - it is going to be difficult to move up the stairs, so want someone that knows what they are doing so to ensure it is not damaged.
