Both apartments are on the top (third) floor, with up to six flights of stairs at each end. At the drop-off location, we do not have access to the driveway, so all items will need to be carried approximately 20 metres from the street to the building entrance. We have one bed that will need to be disassembled and reassembled during the move. And our marble tulip table top can be removed from the base. The floorboards have just been sanded, and walls painted, so it is a priority to us that extra care is taken. We won’t be in a position to assist with heavy lifting, so we’d prefer to arrange a team of 3–4 movers to ensure the job is completed efficiently and safely.
