I'm looking for a photographer for a 5-hour lifestyle/portrait shoot around Melbourne CBD, approximately 3pm–8pm. The photos are primarily for Instagram and personal use. I'm looking to build a large, varied collection rather than just a handful of standard portraits. The aesthetic I'm after is confident, masculine and cinematic — polished but natural and effortless. Think understated and slightly edgy rather than flashy or overly posed. I'd like a mix of strong portraits and natural candid moments — city walking shots, cafe/urban settings, waterfront photos as the light changes, and relaxed nightlife/bar shots. Some should have a paparazzi/documentary feel, like a genuine moment was captured rather than deliberately posed. The shoot will progress through: • CBD/urban lifestyle • Waterfront/city around golden hour/blue hour • Bar/nightlife Pose direction is important. I'd like someone comfortable guiding posture, body angles, hand placement, expressions and where to look, while keeping things natural. I'm also happy for you to suggest poses, angles and locations. I'll bring a small bag with several outfit changes, so we can change looks while moving around. I'm hoping for a relaxed shoot that feels a bit like hanging out around the city while getting great photos along the way, rather than five hours of rigid posing. Coffee and drinks are my shout while we're out. I'd like plenty of variations, expressions, angles and spontaneous shots throughout the session.
