We are hosting an executive technology event called Edge of Intelligence at QT Melbourne on March 19, 2026, and are looking for a photographer to capture the event for approximately 3–4 hours. The audience will consist of CIOs, CTOs, and senior technology leaders, and the event will feature keynote speaker Steve Sammartino along with representatives from Dell Technologies, Triforce Australia, and St Vincent’s Institute. We are looking for natural, professional coverage of the event including speaker presentations, audience engagement, networking moments, and the overall atmosphere of the venue. The images will be used for post-event marketing, social media, and future event promotion. We do not require editing. We simply need the photos taken and all image files provided to us after the event.

Hey there! I'm having a book launch this Friday night from 6pm. The venue is on Spencer Street in West Melbourne, not far at all from Southern Cross. Exact details will be provided to the successful Tasker. I'd love it if someone could be there to take photos, ideally with a fancy camera they'd bring themselves. I'd only need you from 6pm - 9pm. I'm running an event in Collingwood Yards across two spaces within the same building. The exact timing of the day will be 9.50 - 4.20ish. For the morning, we'll only use one space (from 10-1pm), then we'll have a 30 min break for lunch, and the second three hours, we will have a panel running and also a workshop down the hall - it should be pretty easy to split your time between the panel and the workshop for those three hours. I'm looking for someone who has photography experience to capture the day. The output will be great event images (I say this because I had a photographer one time who sent me pretty much black and green imagery which was odd!). We don't expect heavy editing of the images but we want to be able to use these to showcase the day moving forward. Happy to answer questions! Examples from our last event included

We're running a small business event providing information to executives and business leaders. We're looking for someone with professional etiquette, a good camera & photography skills to take photos throughout the event, and who can also greet guests (check eventbrite tickets, provide name tags, welcome them to the event space). Guests will arrive from 11:45am - Presentation 12pm - 1pm, then Q&A+transition to sausage sizzle 1pm onward. We'll have tea, drinks, a sausage sizzle and salad lunch too which you can help yourself to as well.

Need a photographer to capture birthday celebration. 11:00am start for 2hours. Location will be in a park so kids will play around the playground too.
