I run Tarkine, Australia's running shoe brand, and we're adding an apparel line. I need female runners to wear test pre-production samples and give honest feedback. No photos, no modelling, just real wear and your honest opinion. What's involved: Come to Tarkine HQ in O'Connor to pick up the gear. Wear them on a few runs and put them through 2 normal cold machine washes. Full wash and care instructions supplied. Return the gear and fill in a short feedback form (about 5 minutes) covering fit, comfort, chafe, fabric feel, and how the logos and seams held up after washing. Requirements: Regular runner based in or near Fremantle, O'Connor or surrounds. Samples are a US women's size 10 (roughly AU 14), so you'll need to normally wear a US 8 or 10 (AU 12 or 14) for the fit to work. Please include your usual dress size when applying so I can confirm. No prior experience is necessary; we only ask that you watch a brief training video to understand what to observe during your visit. It's about people connecting with trees for 2 minutes at a time towards calming their inner worlds - and also reconnecting with nature towards environmental awareness and care too. Meditation is great – but it can also be difficult! This is about ‘including a tree’ in the mediation process – we need real people trying this and recording their experience.Ideally you are genuinely interested in these themes! The role is, to find a tree that you perhaps find impressive. You either put your hands against the tree, lean your back against the tree or hug the tree for 2 minutes and 'try the process' - to see what it does for you. Ideally you set an alarm for 2 minutes, then record AFTER the 2 minutes (it would be good to include the sound of the alarm) and the describe your experience speaking directly to the camera or as if you were talking to someone off camera - but we want 'talking heads'. Describe what you felt. Was there tension, did you relax? How did your body feel, thoughts? How did the energy of the tree feel? We want REAL feedback. Ideally it will include any calming effects, reflections on nature, the world, or even what it was like if they initially felt awkward doing it in public! Be completely honest, whether the experience was positive, surprising, neutral or even sceptical. We're looking for genuine, unscripted experiences—not actors. That's what will help inspire others to give it a try. These clips will go on our socials - we plan to get heaps! We imagine people doing them for free in the future and sending them to us direct or positing them too. Getting out of your head from 2 minutes and 'dropping into your body' and using the tree as a 'third party' to give some focus and a different energy connection. This task involves visiting 2x shopping centres and taking images of 4x digital billboards within the centre, this can be done on an iPhone or top-line Android device that is less than 2 years old.
