The purpose of this research is to understand how dogs’ movements relate to different activities they perform. What’s involved? 1. Attaching a small movement-tracking tag A small, purely observational tag will be attached to your dog’s existing collar and worn for approximately 1 hour only. The tag records movement data only and does not have GPS, Bluetooth, or cellular connectivity. Videos of your dog’s movements during the session will be recorded using my iPhone. 2. Your active participation is required The session will take place at your home, where your dog is comfortable and can behave naturally. During the session, your help and active participation are mandatory. You will be required to: * Help attach the tag to your dog’s existing collar. * Help ensure your dog performs the required everyday activities, including eating, drinking, moving around, and sleeping or resting. * Assist in guiding your dog through these activities as needed, while keeping the experience comfortable and as natural as possible. No formal training is required, but your involvement throughout the session is essential to help me collect the movement data needed for this research.
