The Issue: The door handles on two of our internal rooms (Optometry Room and Office/Back Room) are broken, loose, and not functioning correctly. The gate lock needs repairs. The issue is with the latch bolt. The latch bolt comes out too far and therefore the door in not able to be closed just by shutting the door, as the latch bolt does not retract into the latch to allow the door to be fully closed. The latch bolt assembly either needs to be re-tuned or fully replaced.
