Hello! I’m moving very soon and need a capable, efficient person to help me tackle a large wardrobe that has become completely overwhelming. I have years of clothing to sort, including quality corporate wear and some unworn pieces with tags from brands such as Acne Studios and Reformation. I need help to: • Work through the wardrobe with me and quickly sort everything into KEEP, SELL and DONATE • Organise and pack what I’m keeping for the move • Bag and separate donation items • Identify what is genuinely worth selling and suggest sensible prices/platforms • Photograph, measure and write descriptions for the best items • Create and publish approximately 10-20 priority listings on Depop and/or Facebook Marketplace • Keep a simple inventory of listed items, prices and status I’m recovering from spinal surgery, so I’ll make the decisions, but need someone to handle most of the sorting, folding, bagging, photographing and uploading. I’d love someone fast, practical and non-judgmental who genuinely enjoys decluttering and organising wardrobes. A good eye for fashion and experience selling clothes online would be ideal. Most importantly, please be warm, down-to-earth and have a sense of humour! We’ll start with a coffee and tackle it together. I need someone decisive and as turbo as me, but also lovely company—five hours inside someone else’s wardrobe is surprisingly intimate. This task is for up to five hours on Friday 18 September in Fitzroy North. For the right person, there may be follow-up work listing remaining items and managing enquiries, offers and sales admin. **Casual Clothing Stock Sorter Needed – Port Melbourne** I’m looking for someone quick, reliable and organised to help sort approximately 1,500–2,000 pieces of clothing at a storage unit in Port Melbourne. The work will involve: * Sorting clothing into practical wholesale lots by style, size and theme, such as plus-size women’s pants, knit jumpers or mixed men’s clothing * Neatly folding and packing items into boxes * Light lint rolling where required * Setting aside anything damaged, stained or needing washing * Labelling each box with its category and approximate item count * Using your judgement to create well-sorted boxes that can be sent directly to wholesale buyers No previous experience is required. Knowledge of clothing styles or experience in fashion, retail, op shops, resale or stock sorting would be helpful, but a can-do attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work quickly are more important. This is hands-on work inside a National Storage-style facility, so you must be comfortable working in that environment. I’ll be onsite and available to help with lifting and moving boxes, but you’ll be expected to manage the sorting and packing independently. This is casual hourly work. There is no fixed number of hours at this stage, as I’m not yet sure how long the full job will take. We can get started and assess how it’s progressing by mutual agreement. The work can also be spread across more than one day if needed. Days and times are flexible, including weekdays and weekends, and can be discussed around your availability. This is initially a one-off job, although we receive new stock every few weeks, so it could become repeat work if it’s a good fit. I'm in an apartment at 689 Latrobe (in the free tram zone if you're coming in this way!) and I've got a very deep pantry cupboard that I need some help to reorganise! I've got a set of shelves that I'll put together (photo attached of the box) for the main large shelf in the middle of the pantry. Just needing someone with some organisation skills to move everything / tidy it up / throw out expired items so I can 'suprise' my partner when she's back after months of talking about doing it They shelves are REALLY deep so it's not practical and needs some good organisation and a cleanout in the process. I'll provide the items to clean it out / wipe it down and you'll just have the ability to tidy it up. It's nothign too arduous but I'm terrible at organising and I'd rather someone who knows what they're doing, help me out and make it workable. Without making you stay longer than needed, it's prbably an hours worth of work at most and I'll get you started by having the top and bottom shelves unpacked and I'll help as needed to repack it. 90sqm 2 bed apartment.(One used as office) I have a robot vac/mop and keep things pretty tidy. Need a cleaner to come every 2 weeks for proper clean of wet areas and surfaces.
