Hi, I’m looking for a patient and experienced female driving instructor for four one-hour lessons in an automatic vehicle. I live in Lewisham and already know how to drive an automatic. I have previously taken the driving test but unfortunately did not pass, so I mainly need help refining my driving, strengthening my knowledge of road rules and correcting anything that may prevent me from passing next time. In the past, I have had instructors who were too hands-on and prompted me constantly. This made it difficult for me to think independently and develop confidence in my own decisions. I’m looking for someone who will give me enough time to observe, decide and respond for myself, then calmly explain any mistakes afterward—unless immediate intervention is necessary for safety. I would like to practise in an area that: • Is reasonably easy to reach by public transport from Lewisham • Has a suitable testing centre where I could eventually take my driving test • Is calmer and easier to navigate than very busy inner-city test routes I would appreciate your advice about the best testing location. Lessons would ideally take place around that area using your insured, dual-control automatic car. I’m looking for: • A female instructor • An automatic vehicle • Four one-hour lessons initially • Calm mentoring around road rules and test expectations • Space to practise making decisions independently without constant prompting • Practical feedback on what I need to improve before booking another test • A rate of approximately $50 per hour, or not too much higher My budget is around $200 for four lessons, with some flexibility depending on your experience and location.
