Victa Super Mulcher 18”. After I swapped the blades over last week the engine felt a bit rough and shook around a bit more than normal. Otherwise fine. Today the engine was revving high then low, high then low repeatedly. I turned it off. On turning it back on it began to backfire loudly so I’ve shut it off. It needs a general service anyway - Unsure what’s causing the issue. Looking for an experienced repairer to help bring the engine back to normal running conditions again.

Had engine rebuild about 6 months ago on my Husqvarna LTH 2142D ride on mower. Ever since then I have had issues. Repairer came back a few times to try to find the problem but now I am unable to get a hold of him. Engine appears to overheat and stops. Leave it for about 30 to 45 minutes and it usually restarts. Occasionally blows thick black smoke.
