What does a landscape design service include?

Our landscape designers have the skills and experience to help you achieve the landscape you've always wanted. They can redesign your current backyard, or craft a whole new concept for you. Using their knowledge and artistry, you can count on them for a detailed final plan, either digitally prepared or printed. To give you an overview, here's how our garden design and landscape service works:

Garden landscape analysis

Usually, our design process starts with an initial site visit. It allows our landscape designers to fully understand your style so they can come up with a solution that will best reflect your personality and aesthetics. It can also give them a better idea of the location, lifestyle, and climate, and identify any possible challenges that might arise. While at it, feel free to discuss the ideas you have in mind, your preference, as well as your budget.

In case of unforeseen circumstances that your designers will not be able to show up to your place, you can send them photos of your current landscape. You may also discuss your plans with them through our messaging tool.

Garden landscape design proposal

Our designers prepare their first design proposal based on all the gathered insights and discussions from the initial meeting. The sketches and layout can be presented to you conventionally through pen-and-paper or via digital platforms. The purpose is to give you a visual idea of how your future garden landscape will look like. Usually, it includes all the suggested landscape features that will complete your outdoor space. Popular elements are plants, flowers, hedges, trees, pathways, and real or artificial turf.

If you want to make your landscape a little more entertaining, you can ask our designers to include pools, garden bench seats, water features like ponds and waterfalls, and even a gazebo. Do not hesitate to let them know your feedback. Our landscape designers may work on many revisions until they come up with the perfect and most suitable design.

Garden landscape final concept plan

The service usually concludes with a final concrete plan that will guide you towards correct execution. Once the design proposal is approved, your designer hands over a final concept plan, which usually contains: 2D or 3D visuals, furniture and material recommendations and samples, demolitions if applicable, and detailed plan for each landscape feature.

We also have a range of landscape contractors who can do all the building and installing to complete your new outdoor living space. You can even hire our landscape architects if you need someone who can professionally supervise the whole thing and ensure that the project is going according to plan.

Hi, Looking for someone with knowledge of specific plants which would be suitable for my outdoor space. I have a boundary space around my fence line to fill. The boundary is approximately 70cm wide by 18m in length (it’s in an L shape around). Would like a consultation first of the space to finalise what to buy and then will pay you to buy and install the plants. My budget fee is for consultation only. Balmain NSW, Australia

14th Nov 2019

Provide a design (DESIGN ONLY) of a courtyard space (including plants, materials, coverage options). Space is approximately 3m x 3m, has existing tiles and concrete planters (which currently contain bamboo). Would like space to be redesigned so it is small child friendly however retains beauty but fits in with the rest of the house. Some ideas of design will be provided. Key issues faced (in making a child friendly space): 1. Tiles (potentially laying artificial turf) 2. Space does not have shade all times of day (potentially requires shade sail or retractable roof) 3. Would like to keep green in the garden (potentially with use of green wall). Expect design to lay out options (within a reasonable budget). Please ensure you have examples of work on your profile. Quote is for design only. Expect this will require a site visit to take measurements and see sun/shade coverage.

Landscape design

Russell Lea, New South Wales, Australia

27th Dec 2018

I am looking for some advice and for plans to be completed for landscaping my yard (in Russell Lea in Sydney). My property is a 1920's Californian bungalow which is located within a conservation zone (contributory building). Ideally looking for someone who is experienced in designing traditional landscapes which are subject to heritage/DA approval. The site is reactive clay soil, so require a path to be installed around the foundations to keep the moisture away and prevent further movement. Am also looking for plant selection which does not require a lot of water to be introduced to the site. I do not yet have a contour survey map, but I can get this completed so the job can either be done locally or remotely. The property is 297m2 all up.
