I’m looking for an independent front-end developer for a small, clearly defined Phase 5 build of a web-based experience. This is not a typical website or app build. The work focuses on: a single entry screen subtle, state-based interaction stillness and intentional user pacing micro-responses rather than features There is: no AI no accounts or logins no e-commerce no optimisation or growth focus Behaviour is fully specified via a short experience contract and state map. I am looking for an experienced web designer to rebuild my current website, Academis.com.au, onto a user-friendly platform (preferably Wix, open to WordPress or anything else). The Current Situation: My existing website is a custom-coded web app (Vue.js/Quasar). I do not have access to the backend code, and it cannot be edited. • The Task: You cannot "export" the old site. You must manually copy the text and images from the live URL and recreate the layout from scratch on the new platform. • The Goal: I need full ownership and the ability to easily edit text and images myself once you are finished. The Design Aesthetic: I do not want a generic "education" template. The new site must look: • Wealthy & Smart: High-end, trustworthy, and prestigious. • Aesthetic: Clean lines, minimalist, plenty of white space. • Visual Reference: Please view the current site (www.academis.com.au) – I want to keep the branding but elevate the feel to be more premium. Scope of Work: 1. Platform Setup: Set up a fresh Wix (or WordPress) site. 2. Migration: Manually transfer all content (text, services, tutor profiles) from the current site. 3. Design Polish: Ensure fonts, spacing, and mobile responsiveness are perfect. 4. SEO Preservation: Ensure URL structures remain similar or set up 301 redirects so I don't lose Google ranking. 5. Handover: Connect my domain (academis.com.au) and show me how to make simple edits. Requirements: • Proven experience with Wix Studio or WordPress Elementor. • Strong portfolio showing "aesthetic" or luxury-style websites. • Fluent in English (British/Australian spelling is a must). • Ability to work with existing assets (logos/images) from the live site. I have a clean hosted VPS with Linux Ubuntu installed. This VPS will only be used as a mailserver for a single domain and have less than 10 email accounts. Must use postfix, dovecot, and cerbot (setup for automatic key updates and implementation). Users to be able to use latest MS outlook app with IMAP or POP to send and receive emails (some existing users are currently having issues with latest Outlook sending emails) DKIM setup required. I have an existing web app built in Replit with: • Node.js + Express (backend) • Prisma + PostgreSQL (database) • Stripe Connect for payments • DJ & Organiser profiles + event booking logic It has a number of issues, including: • 500 errors when saving DJ profile • Authentication failures (401 on /api/auth/me) • Inconsistent event visibility • Incorrect delete vs deactivate logic • Profile relationships (DJ/Organizer under same user) • Stripe onboarding and payment flows not working fully • Schema migration conflicts I want an experienced backend/full-stack developer to: 1. Fix all bugs so core workflows run end-to-end 2. Stabilise Prisma schema + migrations 3. Clean up routes & error handling 4. Ensure Stripe Connect flows work properly 5. Implement proper soft-delete (deactivate) for profiles 6.
