Mount TV to plaster wall. I’m finding it hard to find the studs, my stud finder is being a little funky and the studs I think are in steps? All other tools can be provided including the bracket/ mount. TV is fairly large and going in a child’s room so can’t afford to gamble with this one :) I ended up screwing into where the stud finder told me to and where my knocks confirmed it and only one drill bit come out with timber on it 😳🤔

We’re looking for an experienced handyman to help with mounting a TV in one of our office rooms. Details of the job: Mount a TV onto a brick wall (TV and wall mount are already provided) We don’t have all the necessary tools, so you’ll need to bring your own equipment There is an artificial hedge wall currently installed in the space that will need to be removed first The backboard/material supporting the hedge wall will also need to be taken down before mounting the TV We’re after someone who has experience with brick wall mounting and can ensure the TV is securely installed. Hi Taskers, I need help with two things: 1. WALL HOLE PATCH: There is a small screw hole in a plasterboard wall that needs to be filled, sanded smooth and touched up with white paint (or left ready to paint). 2. TV WALL MOUNT: Mount my 55" Samsung TV onto the wall using my existing Selby PLB102M bracket (37–80"). The bracket arms are already attached to the back of the TV. The wall has timber studs behind plasterboard — studs will need to be located and the wall plate secured into them. I have the mount hardware ready.
