I’ve had a 210cm flat-pack TV unit/sideboard delivered, but the large box won’t fit in my building lift. I also have 2 IKEA HYLLIS flat packs that I’d like assembled at the same time. Looking for someone experienced with furniture moving and assembly to: * First assess the stair/access route before opening the TV unit packaging * The longest individual panel is 210cm and will need to be manoeuvred up the fire stairs and around a corner * If you don’t believe the 210cm panel can safely get into the apartment, please do not open/unpack the box * If access is suitable, carefully unpack the box downstairs and carry the individual pieces upstairs. Smaller pieces can use the lift * Fully assemble the 210cm TV unit inside my apartment without the legs * Assemble 2 x IKEA HYLLIS units * Move my large sofa and position my rug underneath it * Move my boxed 65-inch TV from my bedroom to the living room * Unbox and carefully position the TV on the completed TV unit * Take the large empty cardboard/packaging downstairs when finished Everything is already at my building, so no collection or vehicle is required. I’ll provide photos of the box, stairs and access beforehand. Thanks!

I’m looking for an experienced TV installer/handyman to complete the following job at my home in Hornsby, NSW. TV installation - Remove the existing TV from the current full-motion wall bracket. - Reposition the existing full-motion bracket higher on the wall. - Mount a 40-inch TV onto the repositioned bracket. - Ensure the TV and bracket are securely fixed, level and safely installed. Mirror installation - Install a 65 × 24 inch mirror on the wall. - The wall is plasterboard. - Mounting screws for the mirror are provided. - The mirror needs to be positioned just above the skirting board and securely mounted. Important: Please bring all necessary tools and be prepared to supply any additional appropriate fixings, anchors, screws or other materials that may be required to safely complete the installation. If the supplied mirror hardware or existing TV bracket fixings are not suitable for the plasterboard or the new installation, please use appropriate materials to ensure the TV and mirror are securely and safely mounted. Looking for someone with experience in TV wall mounting, full-motion TV brackets and securely mounting heavy items to plasterboard. Timing: Ideally this week, with some flexibility on the day.

The wall is plasterboard over timber framing. I attempted to use plasterboard FlipToggle anchors but wasn’t happy with them, so I’ve stopped. There are a few 13mm holes from the attempt which will be hidden behind the TV/bracket. I’d like you to locate the timber studs/noggins behind the plasterboard and securely fix the wall bracket directly into suitable timber framing with appropriate structural screws. I’d prefer not to install a timber/plywood backing board unless absolutely necessary. TV is approximately 13kg and the bracket is a low-profile/tilting Mounting Dream bracket. Could you please let me know roughly what you’d charge to locate the framing, install the wall bracket securely and hang the TV? I already have the bracket and screws. I tried locating the wall studs myself with a stud finder but couldn’t find them reliably — drilled a few test holes that hit neither wood nor metal, just insulation material. I also tried plasterboard anchors but they don’t hold securely enough for the TV’s weight. Need someone with real experience locating studs (ideally with proper equipment if needed) and who can advise on the safest way to secure a TV this size — including heavy-duty or chemical anchors if the studs aren’t in an ideal position relative to the mount. Bonus if you can also patch up the test holes I’ve already made (filler/finish) while you’re there. I’ll have all materials on site (bracket, screws, anchors). Please reach out ASAP given the urgency.

TV delivered this morning. Need assistance unboxing and setting up a new 65-inch LG OLED TV. TV is already in room. Task includes unpacking, attaching stand, lifting onto TV cabinet. No wall mounting required. Estimated 30 minutes. I’m happy to assist.

Cut open existing plasterboard wall and install some plywood or timber bracing to take the weight of the tv. Reinstate Gyprock and install tv bracket above fireplace
