Qualified technician required for split-system reverse-cycle air conditioning unit requires secondary drain hose (and fittings) to be supplied and fitted onto existing unit already fully operational and mounted with ample space in wall cavity and brickwork (does not require further expansion of cavity) to run dual water outlet drain hoses. It is a simple dismount, apply fittings and connect drain hose and run through cavity securing with cable zip tie fasteners to secure in place and test for leaks. The connection is working on the primary drain hose, just not completely dispelling the water from the unit as it accumulates. Water accumulates at the second outlet and still drips on occasion depending on humidity outside etc. Perhaps the second outlet just needs to be closed off. It might be a simple fix whereby the cap/seal isn't fitted correctly allowing for some water to leak on the opposite side of the unit to where the primary hose to outlet is. The unit is installed on a slight angle but still level and that does not appear to be the cause of the leak. It does not require a chock/wedge for merely propping up the other side. There are two outlets, one has a hose that works. The other outlet needs a hose or plugging up to prevent future leaks. The primary hose works sufficiently but due to positioning of cavity and the angles the hose bends, it currently allows for water to pool within the machine. Therefore if the other side of the machine were adequately plugged and sealed there wouldn't be any pooling of water and there would be enough pressure for the water to drain through the primary hose if there weren't any other smaller outlets that the water could escape from flooding the machine. The secondary hose is to assist because it has not been installed precisely level in conjunction with a cavity that is not at the recommended position to the unit to allow for easiest drainage considering manufacturers pressure ranges.
