Pool gate, wooden slatted gate, circa 6 ft. height, has failed local council pool inspection as it does not close automatically (the full way). Gate does not close fully, so seeking someone that has experience in either installing a hydraulic arm or any other ideas. Based in Doubleview/Scarborough, looking for the job to be done ASAP. It currently requires extra force to close it firmly enough for the latch to engage. If the gate is simply swung open and released, it does not reliably self-close and lock. This is an urgent safety issue as there multiple children regularly at the property, so the pool gate needs to reliably self-close and self-latch every time. Pool gate is not closing automatically. Looks like spring in bottom hinge is broken and needs replacing and loading.

We have a pool gate that has sagged slightly, so now doesn’t close properly. Original installation didn’t include all screws, so guess that has impacted it. Need it to be taken down and reinstalled properly so it auto closes and latches per compliance regulations. It has the right auto close hinges etc.
