Previous tenants (left 3 months ago) put lawn seed down and it looks to be Kikuyu Lawn. Just folds on itself when walked on. I’ve whipper snippered it once and just left a whole heap of mulch making it worse. The soil below is thick and rocky. There’s some rock and bark - just left in a bit of a mess by previous tenants with a dog that ruined it. If you can help me get it back to a somewhat manageable state, or any advice would be appreciated. I’ve looked up what to do - just don’t have tools at the moment to maintain myself. It’s not big enough to buy a lawn mower, so if you’re local and want a spare $20 every fortnight to help me out to keep my space looking nice - we could work something out! Possibly first whipper snipper initially then- go over it with a mower on a high setting (to break down clippings) also may need the edges done to prevent overgrowth and weed treatment if possible - they’re growing within the lawn.
