I’ve just had my backyard in Moorooka prepped for turf lay, for a 130m^2 area. Top soil has been laid down, so keen to find someone before heavy rain comes. New build house needing site preparation and turf laying. Requiring the below: -Removal of existing grass and weeds -Level the land -Ensuring appropriate drainage -Install turf soil. -Installation of Turf. -Disposal of waste. Sufficient access to the property is available for a bobcat (3.5m access). Bamboo side fence in image is just temporary and will be moved prior. I need the following work completed (refer to markings on the attached plan): 1. Lay weedmat and pebbles behind the granny flat (approx. 16m × 1.5m) — highlighted in yellow at the rear. 2. Install a timber edging/separator between the turf area (blue) and the pebble area behind the granny flat (yellow). Approx. 3.5m long. No work is required at the front or left side of the granny flat as these areas are already concreted. Materials: 1. You supply the weedmat and timber edging (from item 5 above). 2. I need a hand laying turf. All prep is done and ground is ready to go. Turf is getting delivered on Tuesday morning. So I need someone fit to help unload the pallets and lay the turf. It is about 400m2. I’ll be laying it too, so need someone to work with me. Budget is based off $35/hr for 6 hrs. No idea if we will even get close to laying all in that time, but open to offers to get it all done or just give me a few hours help. No tools or anything else needed.
