WORK REQUIRED - Remove dead/patchy grass and remaining weeds, including roots where practical. - Assess sunlight/shade, soil, compaction and drainage. - Recommend durable, easy-maintenance natural turf suited to the conditions. - Loosen and prepare soil; supply suitable turf underlay/topsoil and amendments as needed; level appropriately against surrounding paving. - Supply fresh roll-on turf and starter fertiliser. - Cut, fit, lay and water it in. - Protect the lemon tree and roots. Leave a small grass-free collar around its trunk; avoid raising soil against the trunk. Remove old grass, weeds, unwanted excavated soil and packaging. Once turf work is completed, high-pressure clean the backyard brick paving to remove soil, dirt, work debris and remaining algae/moss. Use suitable pressure for bricks/joints and protect fresh turf, soil, plants and the lemon tree from spray and runoff. Leave everything tidy. Provide watering, mowing and establishment advice, including when our dog can use the turf. ACCESS/TIMING Access via front gate and side passage: 90cm wide, approx. 14.5m long. Side-path clearance and leaf clearing are arranged separately. This job starts AFTER that clearance. The size is not even on both sides: 1.92 metres on side 1.64 metres on the other side 7 metres long I have the long roll of Astroturf, double-sided tape + drainage tiles.
