Hello. We're having trouble growing our lawn this summer. Despite lots of water, weed & feed, aeration and sun, there are a lot of bald patches, mixed grasses and weeds growing. We require labour only for preparing around a 55-60sqm area for laying turf. We intend to lay the turf ourselves and only need labour as part of this task - to prepare the site for us to then lay the turf. The site itself is pretty flat and the existing soil is compacted and will require airation, preparation (thin layer of top soil, fertiliser/wetting agent, removal of any old grass/debris) to enable us to lay the turf. We will provide materials i.e. any top soil, fertiliser/wetting agent, so your quote should only be for labour. We need someone with experience and the right equipment to prepare the site (probably 1-2 days work). We intend to arrange a skip to remove any remaining debris, old grass (there is not much of it remaining after a new build), large rocks, small amount of building waste.
