The area is 36m2, existing grass is dead and easier to remove. Area is a simple 6m by 6m backyard of a townhouse, no weird shape. There are stepping stones that need to be removed. Actual area might be a little bit less as I want to leave a small width for plant beds. I will supply the turf so it’s only the installation and would be super if you can supply the other base materials (crusher dust, weed mat, edging, pins, joining tape, glue, infill).

Securing artificial grass to the ground

Hello! I need someone to pull weeds from around the edges of my artificial lawn (no lawn mowing) at the front and back of my house. What needs doing: 1. Pull out the weeds along the back fence line and the edges of the turf 2. Clear the weeds from the garden bed and white pebble area at the front 3. Remove them by the roots, not just cut them off 4. Bag up all the weeds and take them away (or put them in my green bin) Details: a few of the weeds are tall and prickly, so gloves are handy. Please bring your own tools. Photos attached. Installation of 2 x areas of real turf (SWB preferred) in small yard in West Footscray. Area 1 measures 505 cm x 130 cm This area has been cleared of all vegetation and would just need appropriate prep work as decided by landscaper. This area already has steel garden edging in place. Area 2 measures 495 cm x 140 cm This area has been cleared of all vegetation aside from 3 x Lilly Pilly stumps which I'm told could be removed with a reciprocal saw. This area will also require 635 cm garden edging installed. I have not sourced or purchased the turf, soil, fertiliser or garden edging and would need this, along with any waste removal to be completed by the Airtasker. Hey! Looking for someone to supply and lay rough 40–45m² of Buffalo turf in my backyard in Altona Meadows this Friday (23 October). Would be amazing if you could purchase around 50m2 just to be safe and I would use off cuts. The ground is mostly prepared and the soil is pretty healthy, so it should be a fairly straightforward job! Just needing: A little smoothing and levelling of uneven spots. Light compacting where needed. A bit of fertiliser or soil improver where necessary. Buffalo turf supplied, delivered and installed. Important: I don't want the ground completely flattened. I'd like to keep the natural gentle slopes and curves, just smooth things out a little. All rubbish visible in the photos will be removed beforehand. The measurements are approximate.
