Looking for an experienced landscaper / excavator to prepare an existing garden area for a playground and mulch installation. Scope of works: * Excavate and remove the existing nutrient-rich topsoil. * Prepare the area with a low-nutrient, weed-resistant substrate such as compacted crushed rock / crushed concrete / suitable road base, similar to preparation used underneath artificial turf. * Substrate must be spread and compacted reasonably flat and level across the area (within tolerance and reason) * Supply and install a heavy-duty geotextile weed mat over the prepared substrate. * Area will then receive approximately 100–150mm of playground mulch / soft-fall mulch. * Finished substrate needs to be firm, stable and reasonably level before mulch is installed. * Must ensure the preparation helps minimise future weed growth through the mulch. * All excavated soil and excess material to be removed from site unless otherwise agreed. Must have experience with excavation, compacted bases, drainage/falls and ground preparation for landscaping or artificial turf.
