I have recently created some garden beds by removing grass and want to plant in them, but in digging a hole today discovered that there is building rubble under the surface (I found what looks like at least one brick). The ground is clay and it's possible that it's just very compacted, but I suspect it's building rubble as this was a new build completed less than 2 years ago. I am looking for someone to come in and dig out the rubble and remove it; I will order top soil to replace it so that we can then plant. I have 6 small trees that I'd like to plant (3x lilly pilly, 2x citrus, 1x bay leaf) all in 20-30cm pots and it would be great to do it all in one go, but first priority is to get the holes dug and rubble removed. Please let me know if you quote whether you are able to do both the removal and planting or only one. Minimum digging required is to just get the 6 trees planted (probably 30-40cm deep each and around 0.5m radius hole), rubble removed and soil replaced with topsoil I will purchase. I am planning to do smaller plants in the rest of the garden so the rubble may not be too much of an issue elsewhere. If you are able to do a larger job to dig up the whole garden bed and remove all building rubble please indicate it and let me know costs. The garden bed size is an L shape, back side of the garden is about 40 cm deep by 7m long, and on the side of the garden it is about 80 cm deep by 6m long.
