We need a trench dug along a fence line to plant bamboo. It needs to be 8m long, 1m wide and at least 80cm deep. The soil is quite hard/compacted. There is also a small tree stump (already half dug out) for you to remove within that section. A chainsaw could be ideal for removing this, or perhaps it could be dug out. You don’t need to do the planting, just the digging. Soil does not need to be taken away, it can just be put to the side.
