I am redoing my front garden and looking for advice on how to select plants . The layout is fixed and it is next to my driveway. I live in a corner plot in a shared drive way and my house is the last one.

I have a gardener who came here today and did some weeding, hedge trim/ mowing, and took most of the cuttings. However, there are still some additional cuttings that were left and need greenway taking away and removal. You may need to do some more tidy-up/brooming as some cuttings are still on the ground. Using a tiller, plough the soil. Make it ready for showing grass seed. (Fertilizer etc not required, just the airation and levelling) This is to prepare the soil for planting grass seeds. We have two smaller gardening jobs that need to be done. Firstly, there is a large Eric the red aloe vera plant in our backyard that we want to move to the front yard. Note that the plant is probably quite heavy, the leaves have some spikes on them, and care must be taken not to bend the leaves (because if bent, the aloe vera gel will come out). I am happy to lend a hand moving the tree. Secondly, there is a tree on the side of the the street in front of our house. There is a garden bed around it, but the timber holding it up is kind of falling apart. We want to remove the timber and redo the garden bed so it looks a bit tidier and can support flowers. Our neighbors tree also has a garden bed that we would like ours to look like.
